Captain here: this map isn't well-known because pretty much everyone in the scientific community (except for the two authors) has concluded that it's based on a load of bullshit. Here's why, even Wikipedia can tell you this: "Richard Lynn and Tatu Vanhanen *constructed IQ estimates* for many countries using *literature reviews, student assessment studies and other methodologies* [...], which have been widely criticized on theoretical and methodological grounds." Reception by other researchers is as expected; just as an example of the dominant view: "we see an edifice built on layer upon layer of arbitrary assumptions and selective data manipulation. The data on which the entire book is based are of questionable validity and are used in ways that cannot be justified." (Wendy M. Williams & Susan M. Barnett, Cornell University)

Donnie Omar

China's IQ as approved by Chinese government? There is no way to have reliable data regarding China or many other countries.. IQ is a lot of bullshit anyway but still people want to believe intelligence can be measured

Nwobodo Emeka Stanley

No one is "censoring" it. It is just people refrain from using it because it says close to nothing.

USA in the blue. Me: Doubt. X.

the IQ tests are mostly testing education

Sarah Quintana Castro

I have a fairly high IQ but I still think it is a terrible measurement of intelligence, it only really shows how good you are at pattern recognition... if they could measure intelligence based on capability instead that would be much better, is there such a test?

Amanda Rauscher

China has more than 105? Last time a check, they are still pushing around on breakfast buffet

Jerre Neeley

because you are an idiot. check the sources of this bullshit. then you know why ppl try to censor it... it has no scientific background... "we see an edifice built on layer upon layer of arbitrary assumptions and selective data manipulation. The data on which the entire book is based are of questionable validity and are used in ways that cannot be justified" this is why. the authors of the book had an idea before writing the book and changed the real numbers and statistics so that it fits to their racist views. out of the 196 nations, the made estimations for 113 of them and 79 others were not even evaluated, but received a evalution based on neighbouring nations. fucking moron.... that's the problem with smartasses, they just spread bullshit and share information that fits to their distorted view, without even checking the background... more than unscientific, plain stupid. now feel ashamed and read a book about iq....

Renee Hodge

Education and intelligence are two very different things, IQ only test one. Also when you realize that the Blues have been bombing Red's schools and hospitals for decades it can explain the division. This kind of map needs interpretation and knowledges of circumstances, without it it becomes a propaganda pamphlet for racism.

Chrissie Phillips

Whats wrong with this? Its no wonder that education is not as good in the less developed 3rd world countrys. I mean education costs money.

Michael Koios

If you do an IQ test you'll see that it's a conplete load of bullshit. Why? Simply because it's verry subjective. If you are a genius writer but are completely paralel to maths and spacial awareness you will be cathegorised as having a low IQ.

Cristina Bucad

Mostly because it was proven to be inaccurate but okay

ツツ

No shit the average iq in countries with nearly no food, water, schools and constant civil wars is lower then in developed countries? Who would have thought that, you need a 200 iq to understand it...

Gęmmå Śmîth

If you evaluate the intelligence of a fish by how he can climb a tree, then you don't understand the basics of evolution.

Joe Farrell

The number of people not knowing what iq test really measures is incredible. And then they proceed to yell racism because it doesn't go the way they want, ignoring there are differences in each race. Then I'll have retards coming to say "you're a racist" and "you're dumb"

if japan is so smart why did they catch 2 nukes

Taylor Bryant

bullsh8t let's start with actual fact : the 3 most f8cked up WORST countries on earth in start of 2019 are Yemen - Venzuella - Egypt, none of them is red, which won't make sense china has highest IQ is also confirmed bullsh8t, china while a '1st' world, is probably worst 1st world country with so many inhuman rights that only reason they treat it as a 1st world is probably because they have enough nukes to f8ck earth 10 times over if u piss them, and they are the lunatics who caused mass starvation in their own countries because they hated a f8cking bird

Janet Beattie

no one: People with low IQ: IQ is a terrible metric

Tracy Carrier

Well measuring one's overall intelligence with the IQ is extremely unreliable
